                                   Project 3

Project 3 was a cool assignment that taught me many things with editing and finding colors in pictures. The project allowed me to take many pictures of the colorful leaves that have fallen in this season. Many of my photos, especially of warm colors are of leaves that had fallen as the Yellow, Orange, and Red created great examples warm colors. Many of my photos I took were on my walk to and from school near PSU and 16th. This area has plenty of trees and colorful buildings which made getting my photos for this project not very hard. My favorite group of photos for this assignment would have to be Monochrome, as there are many different possibilities in colors you can use for the picture and you can be more creative with the photo.  As for editing of this project I basically fixed the saturation on most colors for all pictures, I just believe the colors should be the most visible thing as this project is based around the types of colors you use. I rarely fixed anything other than saturation, besides a little contrast here and there to make things more visible

This photo of a forest has an exploring and peaceful vibe/message to it, I like the color Green because it symbolizes and shows natural beauty and peace. The color green makes one want to explore and find something new. I believe if I could edit this I would just make the greens more vibrant to make this picture even more inviting.

Edited photo to show mood. I edited the saturation of the Greens, Yellows, Reds, and Oranges to show the leaves and the inviting colors of Fall in this photo. I believe with the new edits the photo looks more inviting shows a better mood altogether.

Project 2

Project 2 was a very interesting project for me. In the beginning I had trouble understanding the different framing techniques especially Rule of Thirds, however I now understand these techniques. I took photos mostly in my neighborhoods on my walks home from the bus and I also took them downtown by the water front. I am using these 8 photos because i believe they best show the framing techniques of this unit. Most of the editing I did on these photos was basic minor adjustments to the Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, and Recovery.

                                                         Project 1
I selected these photos as they were my favorites from the set of pictures I took of these figures at Lincoln. I didn't really use much editing for these as they're inside and using filter wouldn't be the best thing to do. I used HDR for these pictures on my iPhone as it makes them brighter and look better.

Project 1
I selected these photos as I was trying to photograph the park and the people as well as the building under construction. These are my favorite pictures from the bunch as I think capture the park and the building well.

My Summer

                                     My Summer

My summer was spent hanging out with friends in the Pacific Northwest. Whether it was in the mountains or at the beach we had plenty of fun. These pictures are of Gearhart Beach, where I spent the 4th of July with my friends. I also spent time with family in California for 2 weeks of the summer, and worked my first summer job for a friend of my Dads. As a whole I definitely enjoyed my summer.
